Evolution of Biological Diversity
We are interested in the evolution of biodiversity in an ever-changing world. We mainly study flowering plants, but we also work with other organisms. We integrate from field to computational biology to better understand how ecological and evolutionary processes generate and maintain biological diversity. Our projects take place in the Tropics and California.
We are part of the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology and the Center for Tropical Research in the Institute of the Environment and Sustainability at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
