Evolution of Biological Diversity
We are broadly interested in the evolution of biodiversity in an ever-changing world, with a particular focus on flowering plants, non-model organisms, and poorly-studied lineages with remarkable natural histories. Most of our projects take place in the Neotropics, California, and Hawaii.
We are part of the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology and the Center for Tropical Research in the Institure of the Environment and Sustainability at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
